El Questro Wilderness Park El Questro Wilderness Park is a nature reserve in the Kimberley of Western Australia, about 600 km north of Broome. The park is located within the Dampier Peninsula, and is part of the Dampier Archipelago. It was established in 1979 and has an area of 3,380 square kilometres (1,300 sq mi). The park was named after El Questro Station which was established by Gerard Krefft in 1882.
